Cooking with Grant at Hotel ZaZa

Now even though I make a mean burger, there is no way the folks at Hotel ZaZa let me into the kitchen to do anything except take a picture with Executive Chef Grant Morgan

The chef at hotel ZaZa in Dallas continues the long tradition of creative cooking.  But besides his flair for hearty dishes like braised short ribs and curry infused shrimp bisque, his best attribute may be his name, Grant.

With all the new upscale hotels popping up in Dallas, (The Ritz, The W) Hotel ZaZa is still my favorite.  With three days off in the middle of the week my wife Amy and I decided to take a little intown vacation.  What a way to relax.

Not only did we do lunch at ZaZa’s Dragonfly, but we hung out by the pool before our couples massage.  It felt like we were 200 miles from Dallas even though I could look up and see the skyline just a few blocks away.  If you are looking for a fun day out on the town without having to leave it, try a spa day at Hotel ZaZa!
